Everybody remembers their first band, right? Ok, that's presuming a bit much: for instance, that everybody's played in a band at all, let alone a first, second, or third one. My first band is a bit hard to identify, in that I've played in a few, but most were imaginary. . .
The first one I felt was really a proper band, with songs written for the occassion, practice, recorded even, and played out live somewhere, was also the shortest lived. It all came and went over the summer of 1999, in a little town in North Florida called Tallahassee.
Tallahassee's the state capital, but don't let that fool you: it's still a small town . [more on small town-ness, its airport]
